Hi, again from Ensenada...

Today, we traveled about an hour southeast of Horizonte to a rundown hangout for local gangs (Canyon de Monte Vista Park). When we first arrived, the park was relatively empty. So groups of 3 or 4 went out into the community to invite to our park outreach. During our time there, we had prayer walks, picked up trash, performances by the band & dramas, testimonies, face painting, and balloon animals by the clowns.

One of the groups that went out had ended up at a nearby elementary school. After speaking to the principal, we were invited to perform and speak for an hour with their 200 kids as some sort of an assembly. It was there at the school, where we were able to do dance and drama presentations as well as have Lluvia give the gospel and altar call. About 30-40 kids came forward to receive Christ (even as young as 3 or 4 years old!).

We still need your prayers!
  • Safety (sickness & travel to San Felipe on Friday & Saturday)
  • Favorable weather conditions
  • Ability to see God move in powerful & unexpected ways
  • Boldness to step out in different ministry opportunities
  • Effectiveness with organizing outreaches
  • God would allow us to have compassion for the Mexican people
  • We will have genuine, personal quiet time
  • Unity within the group
