Team Ensenada has made it safely across the Mexican Border & have arrived at the Horizonte Church (Calvary Chapel of Ensenada)! With dinner time approaching, we're all realizing just how exciting this opportunity is and what God will be doing the next couple of weeks.
But before we left San Diego, we gathered at La Jolla Shores around 1pm to sing praises to the LORD and witness our brothers and sisters -- Marty Miranda, Tres Pinkerton, Peter Mendez, Debbie Fowler, Brent Williams, Robert Smith, and Cortney Bennett -- get baptized by George Clerie (Director of HSE) and Sam Jacobs (HSE Team Leader). This special event was a great start to our practicum!
So please continue to pray for the Team:
- God would allow us to see the needs of the Mexican people
- We will decrease in order for Him to increase in all that we do
- We will have genuine, personal quiet time
- Safety (i.e. federales, travel around town, food poisoning, sickness)
- Unity within the group (i.e. we will be continually knit together in love)
